Winter 2009
At the Holywell Music Room
We had a lovely time at the Holywell Music Room in Oxford on Sunday 7th February. People have described it as "restorative" and "a scrumptious evening" and we also received a very good review from The Oxford Times which you can read here.
The concert was partly a thank you to our Friends and supporters and also a fundraising occasion. We are still receiving cheques and have raised nearly £4,000. Thank you so much to all of you who came along and supported us - we can't begin to tell you how much we appreciate this valuable contribution to our work.
We enjoyed the evening thoroughly and it was a delight to see so many of our Friends and supporters at a reception afterwards at Brasenose College. We would also like to thank Brasenose College for all their help in making the evening a success.
We would like to thank Judie Waldmann for taking the excellent photos of the rehearsals.
A New Face to Manage our Work
Over the past few months, we have made some changes to our personnel and, thanks to generous funding from The Mary Kinross Charitable Trust, we have a new General Manager to work on administration and future planning.
Deborah Henry-Pollard is our new General Manager, responsible for the strategic overview of all Oxford Concert Party's activity, planning, and fundraising. Deborah is a freelance consultant with 30 years experience of working across the arts and charitable sectors, including extensive experience of fundraising, event management, marketing and project management.
See the Contact Page for how to get in touch with Deborah.
